After some heavy rains yesterday afternoon in the NYC area, multiple roadways were inundated. The westside highway was down to one lane in a few spots because of enormous puddles, and the 96th street underpass had morphed into a small pond.
People were actually backing out of the exit ramp onto the highway, creating a whole new hazard, but my buddy's '14 WRX powered right through it with no issue. An Infiniti and small Hyundai were not as lucky, appearing to have become hydrolocked while trying to ford 96th.
